About PFP

Pulmonary Fibrosis Partners (PFP) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization formed in 2009 to meet the regional needs of patients, families and the area at large. Our focus is to provide information about the disease and to connect with pulmonary fibrosis patients, their families, regional healthcare and educational facilities, and other pulmonary fibrosis organizations.

PFP's Mission Statement

To raise awareness of pulmonary fibrosis and educate, support, and assist our regional community, patients, families and medical professionals in fighting this disease.

PFP's Goals

The focus of our organization is to:

  • Raise Awareness by hosting events, distributing educational materials and working with local media outlets to inform the general public about pulmonary fibrosis;
  • Educate both healthcare professionals and the general public by hosting educational symposia and supporting other teaching events; and
  • Advocate for patients and their families at both the local and national levels, and apprise them of new medical research and legislative efforts.
